Rob from West coast and Tim from the Southern coast.<br />They call me attempting to recruit me for nursing positions that are open. I announced to both that I was mostly complete with an education program from this school in Nursing Case Management. I inquired of both the employability of newly educated / certified Case Managers. Both replied that they would never seek to recruit a Case Manager without at the very least two years experience. Not only would they not recruit they would not even list anyone newly graduated / certified. I also took a short course from June Stark, RN, CCM, she is affiliated with Tuft's University Case management program. I posed the same question, i.e. employability of a newly graduated / certified Case manager. She also replied that she would never hire such an individual. When I also posed the question, where could such a graduate seek employment, she had no real answer. Receiving information of this such is very disheartening to say the least. I clearly regret dedicating as much time as I have to what seems to be a useless profession for a new graduate. Medical Coding & Billing would have been a much better profession to enter without experience.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09135840961088962319noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-339299502142752085.post-59154032547032111422010-07-29T16:49:58.108-07:002010-07-29T16:49:58.108-07:00What states recognize these certifications?
